Hookah lounges have become an important part of Las Vegas nightlife with night clubs/lounges, restaurants, strip clubs and stand alone lounges offering tobacco and non-tobacco smoking pleasure.

Night Club/Lounge Hookah

Lavo, in the Palazzo, is one of the most expensive locations for hookah but may be worth it to unwind in a venue that is part restaurant and lounge with a smallish nightclub upstairs. $65 will get you started on Fridays and Saturdays only from 7 pm to 4 am with inside smoking possible after midnight.

Mist at TI also offers hookah in its more rock oriented format. It is available starting at 5 pm until closing with an earlier offering on Saturday and Sundays starting at 2 pm. At $55 it is the next most expensive hookah smoking.

Poetry is the hip-hop nightclub in Caesars Forum shops. From Thursday to Sunday starting at 10 pm until closing, you can get started for $50 with a rather expensive refill starting at $25.

Puff is an off-strip lounge that is experimenting with its format. Their daily hookah is offered from 8 pm until close starting at $25. It is often not overcrowded but a bit expensive for those concentrating only on hookah.

Restaurant Hookah

Ibo is a new Turkish restaurant that offers hookah from 4 pm until close for $15 which is a very common price point in the Las Vegas hookah market. For the epicurean adventurer, this might be a place to try something different.

Khoury’s is one of the top Middle Eastern restaurants in Vegas according to VegasMadeEasy.com. In addition to good food you can get hookah late in the evening but only outdoors except on Fridays and Saturdays. Although it may not be the best hookah in Vegas, the combination of food and hookah may be the best.

Layalina’s is another Middle Eastern restaurant whose hookah offering is non-tobacco only. The non-tobaccos sometimes seem harsher but Layalina’s offers a variety of flavors and may be perfect for those avoiding tobacco. They are a bit cheaper than most beginning at $13.95 with a $7.95 refill from 6 pm to midnight daily.

Olive Mediterranean Grill has very good food and very cheap hookah. They start at $8.95 with a refill at just $5. Similar to Khoury’s, their hookah does not start until late in the evening at around 11 and they are closed on Sundays.

Paymon’s was one of the pioneers in the restaurant/hookah combination. They have 2 locations in Vegas but we suggest the Sahara venue given its nicer and newer appointments. Their air conditioning works great at Sahara and not so great at the Maryland Parkway. If you stick to their Middle Eastern dishes you won’t be disappointed. Hookah starts at $15 and is offered from 5 pm until early morning.

Shish Kabob House has good sized food portions and is a value for Middle Eastern food. Their hookah runs from 11 am but only to 8 pm except on Sundays when they go to midnight. At $15 and $10 for a refill, they are about average for Vegas hookah.

Stephano’s is not as richly decorated as Paymon’s but their food is very good and they have a cheap refill at $7.50 and an average $15 starting fee. If you don’t mind a somewhat younger, UNLV type of crowd this may be perfect for you.

Strip Club Hookah

Babe’s is a small strip club that is not glaringly easy to find. You can get hookah from 3 pm until early morning with a $10, 2 drink minimum.

Déjà Vu and Little Darlings are owned by the same company with the same hookah which requires a $100 VIP upgrade on top of your admission and on top of a $30 hookah charge. They are very good nude, non-alcohol strip clubs and this might be a way to cap off a strip club outing.

HOOKAH SPECIALISTS

Azuza is a hookah lounge with pretty good service and competitive pricing at $15 with $8 for a refill. You can start in the afternoon at 4 pm and puff away until early morning 7 days a week.

Red Hookah is another specialist that also has non-alcoholic wines Their pricing is higher than some others starting at $20 with refills ranging from $10-15.
